The Ashera is the largest cat and exotic world, and has been designed in the laboratories of Lifestyle Pets, in the United States. It is a product of genetic manipulation, crossing the African Serval with Asian Leopard and domestic cat.

The creation of artificial races is a fact. The Ashera is a genetically engineered cat as a pet cat by the company Lifestyle Pets.

Like a mini leopard, but with the characteristics and care of a common house cat. It is a beautiful and majestic cat comes in four versions: common Ashera, Ashera hypoallergenic, Snow and Royal Ashera Ashera.

Obtained through genetic manipulation, by crossing an African Serval, an Asian leopard and a domestic cat, resulting in a stunning cat, like a mini leopard, but with the temper and feelings of a domestic cat. Requires the same care of a common house cat.It can reach the size of an adult dog weighing 12kg.

How to get a Ashera:

To obtain one of these cats, it is necessary to wait about 12 months. The waiting time can be shortened by paying a bonus. Produced only 100 puppies per year, among the four variants.

Prices within the territory of the Cat AsheraUnidos is:

Ashera Standard-U $ S 22,000
Ashera GD hypoallergenic-U $ S 37,000
Snow Ashera-U $ S 65,000
Royal Ashera-U $ S 125,000

The characteristics of different varieties are the same for the Standard and GD hypoallergenic.

The Snow is white with caramel spots, like white tigers.

The rarest of all is the Royal, which occur less than 4 puppies per year.

It has orange spots and black stripes on cream background, and mottled with black.

The puppies are delivered in their own vehicles. They can also be delivered by hand, in counseling.

For shipments outside the country, to be paid the shipping.

These cats come with all vaccinations, microchip identification, veterinary insurance for one year, the service of an expert in animal behavior, certificate of authenticity that contains the genetic fingerprint of the animal, and all specimens are sterile.
The Ashera and ethics:

Simon Brodie is the creator of Lifestyle Pets, a U.S. company with their headquarters in Wilmington, near Washington. The Englishman had a computer company and he decided since 2003 to the biotechnology and artificial insemination in animals.

The mascot design as as the Ashera is a very lucrative industry, where you can enjoy the tastes and needs of the most sophisticated. But there remains the question of the implications of this resource. Is it morally right, produce animals for sale? What effect this manipulation can have on health and behavior of these animals? Remember you are a new species, and are being monitored for their development.

• Vaccines amended: or attenuated vaccines contain virus altered by various techniques. Your immunization is fast. Not be given to pregnant queens. They are also conventional.
• Subunit vaccines: no virus inoculated dead or alive, but a sequence of amino acids that contains genetic information with which the pathogen produces proteins that the immune system detects. Lack of hazard. Are vaccines and new genetic technology.
• Recombinant vaccines: they are the new generation, based on the use of microorganisms as vectors to express different genes from another organism. The new recombinant microorganism can be used as a vaccine against both.

The existing vaccine for cats:

GatosLas vaccination in currently available vaccines for inoculation of cats are:

- Feline Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus Type I)
- Feline panleukopenia (parvovirus)
- Feline coryza (Calicivirus)
- Feline Leukemia (Retrovirus)
While there are many important vaccines that prevent disease, the risks are always present, therefore, is essential to make a thorough examination before making the decision to vaccinate the cat.

A vaccine is a liquid suspension of microorganisms or antigens, attenuated, which is given to an individual, to help to form antibodies against a specific disease.

The process requires some time, so it can not be used as a treatment during the course of the disease.Vaccines immunize cats against certain diseases, some of which are fatal as l. Therefore, do not require much attention and are ideal pets for elderly or who have little time to devote to it.

While not express their love for us as warmly as the dog, we must be clear that just what they do is clear otherwise.

They are very clean and easily learn to do his business in so-called “health stones.” These should be changed routinely, health and hygiene reasons.

We must keep a clean place where the cat can eat away from the hustle and bustle. We must also keep a supply of clean fresh water.

Here are some helpful recommendations for homeowners.

Water requirements of cats: Drinking, helps offset the loss of water, which occurs in different ways: salivary – feces – urinary.

Salivary losses (licking) and respiratory diseases are not very important. When the temperature is 31 º C, panting induces a water loss of less than 40 ml per day.

The amount of water eliminated through the feces depends on the nature of food and its digestibility: the more fiber is in food.

The most important water loss is the urine. With dry food, about half the water consumed is removed, with canned food represents 2/3.The cat is able to concentrate their urine much (average density: 1045 compared with 1015 in dogs and humans). But if the concentration of urine is very high, there is an increased risk of crystal precipitation and stone formation. Therefore, the cat should be encouraged to drink. Cat drinking water

With regard to water consumption, the recommendations are: according to body weight: 55 to 70 ml/kg/day in energy consumption: 1 ml/kcal. These metabolizable energy requirements increase if you increase water loss by physiological or pathological reasons: high temperature, breastfeeding, diarrhea, vomiting …

The cat has 3 available water sources: the food, and drinking that occurs when used carbohydrates, proteins and fats. This “metabolic water” represents only 10 -15% of the total water requirement.

When the cat eats wet food (canned, fresh fish or meat), cover amply with water requirements contained in the diet. Under these conditions, does not drink or drink very little.

By contrast, when fed with dry food, drink to cover almost 100% of its water requirements.

They should be encouraged to drink with: The presentation of water: The cat is a “drinker delicate.” They are very sensitive to the cleanliness and taste of water. To encourage him to drink, you should have free access to water to pour into a clean glass, ceramic or stainless steel (avoid plastic fixing odors), and renewed twice a day. The ideal temperature is between 5 and 18 º C.

When the cat does not drink enough, add a little milk to drinking water is generally efficient to stimulate consumption. We can even add water to dry food. Some cats do not like, but others enjoy the food hydrated.

The pace of drinking: It is similar to the rate of consumption of food. The cat drinks as often as you eat, which means an average of 10-15 times per day if food is freely available, even if the cat drinks only 6-12 ml at a time. If we encourage the cat to eat many small intake, water consumption will increase.

Composition of food: A diet high in protein, increases the production of urea and consequently the production of urine. Then the cat drink more to compensate for water removed.

By adding salt to food, obviously stimulates water intake, but we must guard against the overuse of this system. Too much salt can be dangerous as it accelerates the passage of water from the cells into the blood, to restore the balance of mineral concentrations. Then the cat urine and occurs more cellular dehydration. Do not exceed 2% of salt in food.
