The eye wash
The mucous membranes have a pink tint, if red will indicate inflammation.
The eyes can be cleaned with saline solution (Ringer Lactate better because it stings so much) and a gasita.
Agree to change the gauze to clean each eye. We can also clean water thyme or chamomile (especially if there is any infection).
This can be done once a week.

Childbirth preparation
Another important aspect is to prepare for childbirth.
First you’ll choose the proper place for the bitch. Ideally, a box of wood or other material resistant to loose measures that allow the animal to feel as comfortable as possible in the time of delivery and also shelter, without danger of being crushed by lack of space, the puppies during their first weeks.
We must also bear in mind that puppies need a warm, sheltered environment, the first day you can put down the box a towel or blanket. Should be monitored that are not too fluffy to avoid the risk that a dog being crushed by his mother in the folds.
